Most of our clients come to us for a trademark or a patent and stay because someone has to form the LLC, finalize the structure with any co-founders, and read the contract the big customer sent. For Ohio founders, that’s us.
Startups. We file with the Secretary of State, get the EIN, and walk you through which structure fits what you’re building. Our Premier package includes a custom operating agreement or bylaws, which is critical to have when there’s more than one owner.
Contracts. Licensing agreements for the IP we helped you register, customer and vendor agreements, contractor agreements that assign the copyright to you in writing (because calling it “work for hire” usually isn’t enough when a contractor made the thing), and reviewing whatever the other side sends over.
Transactions. Buying or selling a business or a brand, including the trademark and copyright assignments. Recording them isn’t what transfers the IP, but it’s what stops the next buyer from claiming it out from under you.
